ABOUT US
Meji Design Gallery is a curatorial discovery space that brings together art and design, focusing on original production. Located within Meji House, a building that once served as the Old French Orphanage and is now reanimated by art and design, our gallery showcases a curation featuring designs for living spaces, objects, functional art pieces, and collectible selections, all by Turkish designers. On the art side, we feature works by contemporary artists. Meji Design Gallery embraces a new generation gallery concept that opens up new forms of expression developing between art and design. Our starting point is to make creative production in Turkey visible and to contribute to the stronger representation of Turkish designers and artists in the global arena. In this regard, we support creative freedoms, experimental approaches, unique production languages, and material uses. We position our gallery as a dynamic platform that constantly evolves through creative collaborations, interdisciplinary meetings, and cultural interactions, encouraging production and dialogue.
